Celebrating Young Changemakers in Dundee! 🌟 This week, five primary schools from across Dundee pitched their impressive social enterprise ideas to an expert panel at the Social Enterprise Schools: Dragons’ Den competition at the V&A Dundee 🐉 The Dragons’ Den event provided an opportunity for young people to design an item that would benefit the supporters of Dundee Stars Ice Hockey Club. With the support of the V&A Dundee, the young people received an input from Gary Jamieson, Schools Development Officer, V&A Dundee. 🤩✍️ The Trade-Mart Dundee Stars are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward, Kameron Kielly for the 2024-2025 Elite League campaign. Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Kameron began the season in Sheffield last year and played six times for the Yorkshire club, scoring one goal before moving back to North America to spend the majority of the season with South Carolina. The 27-year-old center, who can also play right wing, joins the club from Allen Americans of the ECHL where he finished out the 2023/24 season. 📝 Read more: https://lnkd.in/ePfyYeSC

✍️🤩 The Trade-Mart Dundee Stars are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward, Brogan O’Brien for the 2024-2025 Elite League campaign. The 26-year-old center, joins the club after spending the past six seasons playing for Carleton University Ravens in the USports league and last season, he iced in 28 games and recorded 15 points (4G, 11A) before going on to make two appearances with Fort Wayne Komets in the ECHL, at the end of the season. Born in Prince George, British Colombia, Brogan made his professional debut back in 2018 as he featured in four games for Kansas City Mavericks in the ECHL, scoring one goal and assisting on one more, after finishing his major junior career. 📝 Read more: https://lnkd.in/euF5U656

✍️🇺🇸 The Trade-Mart Dundee Stars are delighted to announce the signing of American netminder, Jarrett Fiske for the 2024-2025 Elite League campaign. Hailing from Erie, Pennsylvania, the 25-year-old goalie joins the club from Niagara University, where last season he played in 29 games and recorded a save percentage of .912%, a goals against average of 2.72 and was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded to the best player in the NCAA each season. 📝 Read more: https://lnkd.in/e2bFSZyc
