Hackers are now using specific keywords in stolen user credentials to quickly locate sensitive data, such as administrative logins or remote access systems. This technique allows them to target high-value accounts faster. Ongoing monitoring is crucial to protect against these types of attacks and identify potential threats early. Warnings of Sextortion Scams Including Images of Property: Sextortion scams involve hackers threatening to release sensitive or personal images or videos unless a ransom is paid. These messages often appear personalised, and a new wave of messages has started to include details about the victim's property, such as the address and an image of the property's exterior. It's important to note that these scams are usually automated or semi-automated, and this information could have been obtained through a data leak, with the image possibly generated using the likes of Google Maps. Always avoid engaging with these types of communications and, instead, contact your local authorities. Cyber Alert: Microsoft Quishing Campaign We have been alerted of a phishing campaign that uses QR codes embedded in Microsoft Sway documents to steal credentials, 2FA codes, and cookies. Sway is a free Microsoft 365 presentation creation tool that allows users to create slideshows, newsletters, and documentation online. Hackers are targeting victims by sending email-attached Microsoft Sway documents with embedded QR codes, encouraging users to scan them. This first redirects users to a malicious website to steal their logins, then lands them on a legitimate website, allowing the scam to go undetected. Logins can then be used to conduct further attacks. Always avoid engaging with QR codes unless the source is verified. We've included Indicators of Compromise (malicious/suspicious domains) along with a phishing example. #Cybersecurity #Quishing #CyberAlert

TfL (Transport for London) has confirmed they are currently dealing with a cyber incident. Reports state that backroom systems at the organisation's corporate headquarters have been affected, and staff were asked to work from home if possible. TfL has stated that there is no evidence at this time that customer data has been compromised, and services remain fully operational. The identity of the attackers and their motivations are still unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
