Are you working with the best? That’s how a senior manager at AXA described our online driver profiling and driver training business. We are proud to have been AXA’s preferred partner for online driver profiling and training for a decade, as well as working with other major insurance companies to educate and protect their clients’ drivers. Our multi-award-winning enables insurance clients and fleet operators to see a risk profile across their company and grey fleet drivers quickly and easily. With reporting on individual risk assessments, training can be tailored to appropriate levels, reducing risk and bringing down the number of collisions. #preferredpartner #commercialinsurance #riskmanagement #motor

STRESS // Today is Stress Awareness Day, an annual event dedicated to stress management and combating the stigma of stress and mental health issues. For fleet managers and employers, it’s an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of stress management in safe driving. “Driving requires 100 per cent concentration,” says Graham Hurdle, Managing Director at E-Training World. “If someone is struggling with stress or mental health issues, they are more likely to become distracted whilst driving, a major cause of road collisions, or get involved in road rage situations, which pose a threat to health and safety for everyone on the road and put drivers at risk of prosecution.” Like the International Stress Management Association UK, we ask everyone to help “raise global awareness of stress and improve its management in the workplace and in our personal lives.” #StressAwarenessDay #StressAwarenessWeek #safedriving #fleetsafety

This video caused quite some discussion when we shared it earlier this year. How many warning signs about a low bridge ahead do you see? Watch the video and tell us in the comments. See how good your observation skills are! #bridgestrikes #warningsigns #roadsafety #driversafety

RISK // Why risk profile your drivers? Assessing your drivers lets you prioritise training for the most at-risk drivers in the most critical areas. Using a combination of high definition video footage, our online driver profile assesses drivers in the core driving disciplines of: > Attitude > Knowledge > Concentration and Observation > Hazard Perception At the end of the assessment, drivers are immediately given an overall risk rating of High, Medium or Low risk. They also receive a High, Medium or Low risk for each of the four assessment sections so that they and their fleet manager can see their strengths and weaknesses and tailor training accordingly. #riskassessment #riskprofiling #fleetoperators #fleetmanagers

The clocks go back this weekend, signalling that darker days and longer nights lie ahead. Whilst we will be delighted to see some bright sunny mornings, it’s important to remember that the sun is much lower in the sky at this time of year than in the summer. Drivers might not consider bright sun to be an adverse weather condition, but it can obscure your vision, especially when driving by trees. Slowing down and increasing the gap between vehicles is vital to avoid being blinded by the sun and taking longer to react to the road. #drivertraining #driversafety #roadsafety

It is good to read that deaths on UK roads fell 5% last year, as reported by Fleet World. However, Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom data shows that significant work is still needed to tackle fatality and casualty numbers. Pedestrian fatalities were up 5%, and the proportion of fatalities where an occupant was not wearing a seatbelt rose from a fifth (21.0%) in 2022 to a quarter (24.6%) of those killed in a vehicle in 2023. Driver training is vital to educate drivers, change attitudes and create a culture of safe driving. #roadsafety #drivertraining #roadaccidents #accidentprevention https://lnkd.in/e-KvWq6G

Would you pass the driving theory test if you had to take it today? An Independent Advisor Car Insurance survey earlier this year found that half of drivers would fail theory tests if they took them now. Five questions stumped a high proportion of drivers, including knowledge of motorway speeds and stopping distances. In our online driver profiling, we assess drivers’ knowledge of critical areas, including UK Road signs and markings. Online driver training can then be targeted to equip drivers with the knowledge they need for safer driving. #theorytest #drivingtheory #drivertraining #roadsafety
