Thank you, Ida! ❤️ Ida Gilbert, our fantastic Head of Ophthalmology and longstanding Eastcott team member, will be leaving us to pursue her own new adventures - travel, family, and clinical work. Ida has been a huge part of the hospital and helped to build our reputation across the South of England over the last 27 years. When Ida joined us back in 1997, we had three full-time vets and were based at Bath Road. She started seeing Ophthalmology referrals in 2001 and it has been a joy to see both her team and the hospital grow during this time.
