We're celebrating the week of #Diwali in the office today. Diwali, known as the festival of lights, is a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness, an event celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. Lead by our Cause Relationship Manager Rena Shakham, staff have been treated to a selection of delicious Samosas and traditional snacks, along with the opportunity to try on a Sari and Bindi, learning more about the origins of each. A very Happy Diwali to all our staff and followers. 🕯

October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth Many of us are all too aware of the impact the disease can have on individuals and families. The theme of this year's is to get active, with Breast Cancer UK advising that increased physical activity can reduce risk by as much as 20%. We're proud to be able to help so many cancer charities access funding to continue their research to find a cure, and provide support to those affected by Breast Cancer. Over £200,000 has been raised for such causes to date. Our Senior Leadership Team made use of their annual volunteering days earlier this month, in support of the Countryside Regeneration Trust. Alongside Conservation Officer Vince, the group spent the day at Cambridge Farm cutting down and clearing overgrown willow trees, improving the accessibility for local walkers, while also enhancing the scenery. The team, led by our CEO James Moir, reported that whilst a very tiring day, it was a highly rewarding and enjoyable bonding experience. We're enjoying a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning here at easyfundraising HQ. A fine selection of treats have been whipped up by the team, each sold for a donation to Macmillan. Today marks the start of Inclusive Employers National Inclusion Week, something that we are very proud to be a part of. The theme is #ImpactMatters - a powerful message that centres around understanding, identifying and measuring impact on marginalised groups and taking actions that make for genuine, sustainable change that matters. We are taking this opportunity to launch our new diversity and inclusion strategy which is being shared with all colleagues this week. We are extremely proud of our diverse and talented team, who work together to make such a difference for our causes across the country.
