We've just signed off the latest issue of StandOut Magazine (Stand Out Live Events Magazine) and you'd think that I'd be sat here with my feet up. Oh no, we're cracking on with the next edition and it's gonna be epic. To be honest, planning and interviews have already started but now I am full steam ahead. So what's coming up in our April edition that you can get involved with? 🎤 Festival promoters – tell me stories and your current business challenges. How are things? How are you developing your portfolios? Or are you bucking the current trend? I want to know about the business of festivals. 🎪 Festival ops people (as in festival legends) – I know you have your head stuck in site plans so tell me how your site is changing. What ops moves are you making? How are operational plans being tweaked? Which suppliers are you appointing? Let me know 🎟️ Ticketing – Are tickets flying out the door? Have you implemented a new ticketing policy/strategy for 2025? New ticketing products? Get in touch. 🚧 Fencing and barriers – I want to know all about new products and how fencing and barriers are being used on an event site. 🦺 Crew – From crew trends and crew pay to market conditions and projects that wouldn't have happened without decent crew and safe hands. Number one rule of EPN? (Event Production Network) "What happens at EPN, stays at EPN..." Humour aside: What an inspiring and open-minded bunch of #EventProfs! Listening to "competitors" engaging in best practice and sharing advice has blown me away and given me motivation to continue bringing Event Production Agencies together to collaborate further! Thank you to those who attended the intimate roundtable yesterday at Association of Independent Festivals Congress. I will honour to support you where I can and action our discussions promptly, which in turn, shall make a positive impact on many events. We welcome registered companies (owners and PAYE staff) "who sit in the middle" to join this network. (I thank all those who have tried to join the LinkedIn Group thus far, and apologise to those who have been denied. This is a very niche group of companies operating in live events, and is not suited to the "traditional" supply chain or event owners.
