The ongoing regeneration of Aberfeldy Village is something that we are incredibly proud to be a part of. Over the last 12 years, along with our partners Poplar HARCA, we have achieved so much - including over 900 new homes, green spaces, a community centre, and a makeover for Aberfeldy Street. This year we received the green light from Greater London Authority to finish what we started. So, over the next 10 years, we will deliver a further 1,500 new homes, safer transport routes, a new town square, more local shops and much more... Here’s to the future

Last week, in partnership with Poplar HARCA, we celebrated “Summer In The Square” for the local community of Aberfeldy Village. The event included sports on the big screen, amazing food, games for all the family, chances to meet the local businesses, and a wide range of activities for everyone to get involved. We were so happy to welcome so many local people to the event to support of the amazing community.

In the video below, Lisa Gledhill and Reg give a snapshot of some of the key themes discussed during the session and how EcoWorld wants to help drive the conversation further. Please do get in touch with Reg Amoah via LinkedIn if you would like to hear about how he can help your business.

We were really happy to sponsor the Brentford Canal Festival on Saturday 22nd June. We are always so please to be involved with the festival and we love seeing everyone in the community having such a great time. The aim of the festival is to celebrate the waterways of Brentford. The festival recognises the importance of the waterways in establishing Brentford, and it does an amazing job of bringing the community together for a day of fun to enjoy life by the water. “The value for money we got at Verdo was incredible” We were so pleased to see two of our residents, Raquel and Riccardo, tell their property story in the Neighbourhood section of Metro. In the article, Raquel and Riccardo talk about why they chose Verdo, what they like about the local neighbourhood, and why buying a property made financial sense for them.

All of us at EcoWorld were deeply saddened by the news that the former leader of Hounslow Council, Steve Curran, has passed away. Throughout his time as leader, we enjoyed an excellent relationship with Steve and his team. We always appreciated his involvement, whether it was in our partnership with Lampton Homes, our Kew Bridge Scheme or the G-tech Community Stadium. His dedication to the London Borough of Hounslow was legendary and he was driven by improving the lives of those who lived in the community. He leaves a legacy that will stand the test of time. Our thoughts are with Steve’s family, friends, and colleagues at this time.
