Exciting news! Our long-standing customer Tamar Packaging Solutions Ltd visited us at our Edale headquarters to view their new machine. Their continued growth has led them to invest in a new 8-colour FL5. Tamar’s existing machinery includes 3 FL5 presses with Rotary die cutting; however, to help diversify into new markets, they have opted to invest in an inline Flatbed die cutter with the new press. Working closely in partnership, Edale and Tamar have optimised the factory space to improve productivity. National Apprenticeship Week! We talked to Ben Granat, who is 16 months into his 4-year apprenticeship, structured as 18 months for his Level 2 and the remainder for his Level 3 NVQ. When asking Ben what he enjoys the most out of his apprenticeship he replied "The thing I enjoy the most is the ability to combine physical and mental problem solving. The working environment is amazing with loads of friendly people who have an active interest in helping to facilitate my learning One of my best moments was when I was away on site, it was hard work but rewarding.
