As we look towards the future of these industries, the statistics are compelling: By 2030, the global XR market is projected to reach $1.5 trillion, with a compound annual growth rate of 62.7%. This explosive growth is creating a surge in career opportunities, with XR-related jobs expected to increase by 39% annually. In the AI sector, job postings have risen by 450% since 2013, with demand for AI skills outpacing supply by 2.5 times. The Girls STEAM Institute's challenge addresses this opportunity by engaging participants in creating innovative XR and AI solutions for real-world problems. Mentors, parents, and educators play a crucial role in supporting these young innovators. The program offers resources and guidance to help adults nurture STEAM skills and entrepreneurial mindsets in the next generation of tech leaders.
