World Mental Health Day is celebrated each year on 10 October, and this year’s theme—Workplace Mental Health—highlights the critical importance of addressing mental health and well-being in the workplace. For professionals in higher education, this extends beyond staff to include the international students who live, study, and work on our campuses. International students often face unique mental health challenges, such as cultural adjustment, homesickness, language barriers, and academic pressure. So, how are we creating supportive environments that prioritise their well-being, both as students and as future members of the workforce? 🌱 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters

Top Tips for moving from Print to Digital Publications 📚➡️🖥️ Transitioning from print to digital is a technological upgrade and a change management challenge.   Here are some tips to help you ease the transition, ensuring your team feel supported and empowered. Transparent Communication Begin with open dialogues about the benefits of digital transformation, for the institution and also for the staff personally—such as improved efficiency and access to new tools. Address concerns openly and involve staff in the planning process. Implementation Tip: Schedule regular meetings and create a dedicated channel where staff can voice concerns, ask questions, and receive timely updates. Phased Implementation Avoid the overwhelm of a "big bang" switch-over. Implement in manageable phases, allowing staff to adapt gradually. Start small. Implementation Tip: Start with agents and/or markets who are open to and already adapted to digital publications. This approach provides the team with immediate success stories and allows them to experience the efficiencies adopting digital publications creates. Your team will quickly see how it frees up their time. Targeted Upskilling and Support Recognise that change can be daunting. By providing tailored training that respect the existing skill levels of different staff members. Ensure ongoing support is available to help staff overcome any technical challenges. It’s new and it’s important to appreciate that the early stages of change can feel overwhelming. Implementation Tip: Connect with agents or other international education teams who are further down the process to learn from their experiences. Develop a mix of training methods, including in-person workshops, online tutorials, and peer-to-peer mentoring. By addressing the transition to digital publications with a structured and supportive approach, we can significantly reduce resistance and move rapidly to a more cost effective and sustainable communications, recruitment and compliance model. We know that moving to sustainable isn’t the flick of a switch. But it's certainly worth it. On so many levels. Ready to that the first step? – we are here to answer your questions. At eduKUDU we understand these challenges and provide support through the journey to a more sustainable and accessible recruitment and compliance solution. #HigherEducation #ChangeManagement #DigitalTransformation #digitalmarketing #internationaled
