⭐We really believe in the importance of digital exploration and technology enabled learning in schools. ⭐ We want to empower pupils with hands-on experiences in digital creativity, programming and online safety; igniting a passion and curiosity for technology early on, helping pupils develop skills for the tech enabled world they will grow up in! ⭐That's why we are thrilled to have recently introduced a range of pupil workshop opportunities led by the qualified teachers in our education team! ⭐But don't just take our word for it! Today is World Mental Health Day, which is recognised every year on the 10th October. It’s the World’s Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) initiative to help raise awareness of mental health matters around the world, to mobilize efforts in support of mental health, and to reduce the stigma.  Here at eduthing we are dedicated to opening up the conversation with our colleagues around mental health. We are proud partners with Everymind at Work to ensure our managers are equipped with the tools to support and sign post for there staff when needed.

Chief Innovation Officer at eduthing ltd

Last week, I had the privilege of visiting several schools across the Great Learners Trust alongside colleagues from the Department for Education, technology and supplier departments. Together we witnessed how digital tools are transforming learning experiences in the classroom. From Minecraft Education bringing history lessons to life, to Sphero Minis enhancing geography, BlueBots fostering engagement in English, and Paint 3D being integrated into maths. We also saw ClassVR Virtual Reality for the Classroom for immersive religious education and fantastic facilities for pupil-led podcasting and greenscreening across the curriculum. Seeing firsthand the impact of our collaborative efforts with school partners is always rewarding. I’m excited about the next phase of the digital transformation journey and the continued innovation across the trust. Happy Friday and Happy October to you all 😊 In last week’s Friday Feedback post we were patiently anticipating our final September numbers and for those of you that missed the post from our service desk manager James R., we are very proud to announce an amazing 17760 tickets closed in the month of September alone. The numbers truly do speak for themselves, what an amazing team effort all round. Powered by copious amounts of coffee and the odd cold and flu remedy you guys did us very very proud indeed. We were happy to see most of you able to join us last Friday at the most recent eduthing family social where we were able to celebrate such a successful start to the academic year as a team. 😁 As we now look forward to October we kicked off the month by hosting an event of CPD with LEGO Education at eduthing HQ, thanks to the collaboration of LEO Academy Trust, RAISING ROBOTS, RAFYouthSTEM Team and BAE Systems for providing an event that will boost the programming provision in a number of school for educators across Surrey. If you are looking for an event space, please contact us at hello@eduthing.co.uk. With many more events to come October looks to be another exciting month at eduthing and we can’t wait to share it with you all. “Kind, professional and fast!” 🌟 Alex Ellis, Primary, Aylesbury – Buckinghamshire “Thank you Billy for calmly talking to me and sorting out my screens. Thank you for Hugo who popped in for a meeting and got hijacked by me! After a number of buttons being pressed and swapping of cables I am up and running” 🌟 Billy Robson, Infants, Thames Ditton – Surrey

During the summer we were joined by members of the Halo Service Solutions team for an insight into how eduthing uses their systems to support this growth in a case study. Excited to share this soon! #servicedesk #msp #educationmsp #itsupport

What a fantastic day at eduthing ltd with schools from across Surrey learning with RAISING ROBOTS and Coding Express 4. In Primary where there's few computing specialists, it is so important to give teachers confidence with coding and today certainly did that! Thank you to RAFYouthSTEM Team and BAE Systems for funding such a fantastic programme and getting LEGO Education kits into schools. The kits provided today are going to make such a difference.
