The Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership is responsible for providing high quality, safe and sustainable community-based health and social care for adults and older people across Edinburgh, Scotland. The Partnership was created by the City of Edinburgh Council and NHS Lothian and delivers services through the NHS Lothian, City of Edinburgh Council, Third Sector Organisations and Independent Care Organisations. With almost 6,000 health and social care workers in Edinburgh, we aim to provide people in Edinburgh with person centred care, in the right place at the right time. We’re also committed to tackling inequalities and supporting and encouraging people to achieve their full potential, stay resilient and take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.

Today we had some amazing news that Media Education are a finalist at the 2024 Social Enterprise Awards Scotland from @Social Enterprise Scotland We’ve been shortlisted in the Health and Social Care Award sponsored by The Health and Social Care Alliance. I wanted to thank Briege Nugent and our Thrive Advisory Board and those involved in our Thrive Research Project for all their work and support over the last 4 years helping us design, test and hone many of the working methods and models we use in our work in this sector. Also Linda Irvine Fitzpatrick for her advise, trust and support. This recognition highlights our commitment to facilitating a lived experience perspective in driving positive change in service design in the health and social care sector in a way which prioritises renumeration, skills and qualifications for those involved.
