As a learning and development (L&D) provider and trusted training partner to a wide range of organisations, keeping up with the changing world of work is central to our ability to design and deliver impactful learning support. So, when one of our most important learning partners, KPMG UK, asked us to take part in an exploration of the future of workplace learning, we sent our Director of Strategic Partnerships, Rhys Evans, to join the discussion and tackle some of the biggest questions facing the L&D world alongside fellow professionals from KPMG, MindGym and Dods Training. You can read the resulting conversation and its fascinating insights by clicking the link in the post below, and we would love to hear any of our followers’ thoughts or contributions in the comments! --- #KPMGLearningServices #skills #futureofwork #workplacelearning
The world of learning and development (L&D) never stands still. The latest skills challenges, new technologies, emerging learner demands; there’s always something to focus the mind. That’s why it’s always important to have some time to think about what’s coming down the line in a few years. One of the (many) great things about working with over 130 top-class L&D providers through our Learning Services business is that we can always ask them what they think. So that’s what we did, sitting down for a quick chat about the future of workplace learning with our friends at Eliesha Training, Dods Training and MindGym. ILM's Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching & Mentoring is such a comprehensive and impactful way to support high quality coaching skills in your organisation. In the words of Henrietta's tutor, it "assesses both knowledge of coaching and the practical application of that knowledge. Henrie was a great example of a star student who soaked up the models and theories and applied them so well with her coachees." To find out more about our flexible and engaging delivery of ILM's Coaching & Mentoring qualifications from Levels 2-7, get in touch via business@eliesha.com.
I'm thrilled to share that I've just received confirmation of successfully achieving the ILM Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. Coaching is a regular part of our work environment, but I've long wanted to deepen my knowledge and skills in this area. At MCA/HMCG, there's a strong belief in the value of developing our capabilities, and I'm incredibly grateful for their investment in helping me reach this goal. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the three courageous and patient individuals who were my coaching clients throughout this journey. While I can't name them due to confidentiality, I'll be sharing this news with them personally. It was truly exciting to embark on this journey together, and I thoroughly enjoyed every coaching session—thanks entirely to their dedication. I also want to express my deep appreciation for my wonderful tutor, Jan Maskell. I learned so much from her, and her unwavering support and commitment made all the difference. If you've had the privilege of learning from Jan, you'll know exactly what I mean. I can't wait to apply my new skills and knowledge with future clients at MCA. Here's to the future! #hmcg #mca #coaching #success #ILM

We are pleased to share another pair of report/whitepaper summaries from the world of L&D research, continuing our series started in June (https://lnkd.in/eSQfaubp). We know that the time to read insightful reports like these does not always appear the diary, so as well as summarising the key points, we have extracted three key recommendations, two key statistics and one key quote, and linked to the full reports if you'd like to read more. Explored and condensed in this blog are: "Stop winging it: Management skills make hybrid working work" published by The Chartered Management Institute in partnership with Timewise. & "Training Trends 2023" published by City & Guilds. https://lnkd.in/ebpgbBnk To find out more about Eliesha's impactful learning & development solutions, get in touch via our website or business@eliesha.com.

Just like any important process your people undertake, it benefits from learning and development support to ensure it is being done safely and effectively. In our latest blog, we have explored some of the key skills of mentoring, so you know where to target that learning support and the kind of topics that will be covered in an accredited mentoring qualification or a mentoring skills workshop. https://lnkd.in/eYdncC8S To discuss any L&D requirements or priorities, including mentoring & coaching skills and qualifications, get in touch via our website or business@eliesha.com and we will be happy to help. #mentoring #mentoringskills #learningblog #learninganddevelopment

Research is an invaluable source of insight into the reality of professional skills and organisational development, and what the future might look like in terms of 'best practice' and trends. Whilst much of the insight we share with learning partners and customers comes from our 20+ years of experience and our subject matter expertise, plenty also comes from staying across the latest research and recommendations from professional membership organisations, awarding bodies, non-profits, think-tanks and other thought leaders. As part of that process - and because the time to sit down and read through whitepapers and research is not always easy to find - we are pleased to share the first in a series of concise summaries distilling the essential takeaways from reports relevant to the world of learning and organisational development. Up first are: "Local heroes? Assessing leadership and management in local government" published by The Social Market Foundation in partnership with Chartered Management Institute & "Future of work: Shaping the workforce of the future with AI" published by KPMG. https://lnkd.in/eSQfaubp
