As another fiscal quarter comes to a close, we have remained consistent and invested with our partners Ecologi | B Corp™ as part of our commitment to sustainability. We believe that businesses share the responsibility of contributing to the well-being of the planet. Our tree-planting initiative is a testament to this belief. This has been a hugely successful quarter for the business so we want to share this success and give back something to support future generations. We have decided to commit to investing once again in the project designed to support local reforestation within the UK and it's great to see our recent investment contributing to our existing, ever-expanding UK forest. Why Trees? Trees play a crucial role in combating climate change. They absorb carbon dioxide, release oxygen, and provide habitats for countless species. By planting trees, we are directly contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which is essential for mitigating global warming and its adverse effects. How It Works For every placement we make, EMBS pledges to plant a tree. This initiative not only rewards our clients and candidates but also ensures that each successful recruitment contributes to a greener planet. If you wish to start your own sustainability journey then please check out Ecologi | B Corp™ as a potential partner and feel free to use the below code, which if you sign up, will contribute 5 free trees to your self-generated forest. https://lnkd.in/ej8Q9PaG

I love our beautifully diverse team and am proud to foster an environment where everyone can be themselves without fear of judgment. Many recruitment companies talk about diversity, yet their people all seem to look and sound the same? What’s that all about? As Co-owner of EMBS, I can categorically and without hesitation say that anyone from any nation, background, gender, age, or sexuality is welcome to work with us as a supplier, employee, client, or candidate. We’re here to make a difference for you! Our team takes pride in how far we’ve come and has faith in how far we can go in supporting diversity and the LGBTQ+ business community. #Proud #Pride

In the midst of Mental Health Awarness Month Last week the team at EMBS went for a lunch time walk to get out and get moving for a couple hours and get some sunshine on us, talk about things outside of work and to take a moment to stop and just do nothing 🧠 Some times we need to take a moment to take in what is around us, the sights, the sounds and to forget about day to day life and appreciate what we have 🙏🏽 Simon Bucknell James Hall Kelly Bradley Lydia Ford Kirsty Whitty Erika Gaizauskaite Alex Smit #mentalhealthawareness

🌟 As we reach the midway point of Mental Health Awareness Week, it's heartening to hear directly from our team members about the activities that help them clear their minds and "Get moving"! 🚶♂️ Simon Bucknell: "A sunny day, a good podcast, and a walk with my mate Bruno the Golden Doodle keeps me feeling tip-top!" 🏋️♂️ James Hall "With running a business and having x2 young children, going to the gym every morning is hugely important for me and my mental health. It allows a bit of 'me time' and also the chance to relieve stress and focus on my health which breeds positivity for the rest of the day!" 🌿Lydia Ford "Hard to decide between hiking and holidays but it has to be gardening as it is always there whenever I need it. 10 minutes of pottering in the garden can have a huge impact on mental health. It helps you forget the world for a while and absorb yourself in the beauty of nature." 🚴♂️ Josh Williams "After years of playing golf at a serious level and no longer playing I started cycling last year and filled a void that needed filling. As someone that loves to be on the move and pushing my limits, cycling is the hobby I really needed and has opened up some doors for me recently to new friendship groups and opportunities." 🏉 Alex Smit: Nothing beats stress like the wind in my hair and a few unneeded broken bones. 🚶♀️Kelly Bradley "Taking a nice walk with my family - really allows us to have a good catch-up about what we have been up to and to plan things we want to do on our next adventure :)" 🧘♀️ Erika Gaizauskaite: "Pilates has really helped me to gain a lot of strength as well as recalibrating my mind and body. It has a lot of strength exercising as well as balancing which helps with focus and at the start and end of every class it involves a lot of stretching and relaxation which allows you to let go for a short while." ⛰️ Kirsty Whitty: "Living in Derby and having the Derbyshire dales right on my doorstep is fantastic for spending weekends exploring new heights. Especially on a nice day, reaching the top of a hike and enjoying the peace, quiet, and some amazing views!!" What's your favorite way to clear your mind and get moving? Share in the comments below! #MentalHealthAwareness #GetMoving #TeamWellness 💪🌈

Hey everyone! It's that time of the year again – Mental Health Awareness Week – and this year, we're focusing on the incredible benefits that movement can have on our mental well-being. So, lace up those trainers, dust off that yoga mat, or simply take a stroll because we're diving into the power of movement for our minds. Exercise isn't just about sculpting our bodies; it's about nurturing our minds too. When we move, whether it's dancing to our favorite song, going for a jog, or practicing mindfulness through yoga, we're giving ourselves the gift of mental clarity, stress relief, and an overall mood boost. Here's why movement matters: Stress Relief: Feeling overwhelmed? Movement is your secret weapon. Physical activity helps to reduce the levels of stress hormones in our bodies, leaving us feeling more relaxed and at ease. Mood Enhancement: Ever notice how a good workout can turn a bad day around? That's because exercise stimulates the release of endorphins – those feel-good chemicals in our brains – leaving us with a natural high and a brighter outlook. Improved Sleep: Struggling to catch those Z's? Regular physical activity can help regulate our sleep patterns, ensuring we get the rest we need to tackle each day with energy and focus. Boosted Confidence: Whether it's hitting a new personal best at the gym or mastering a challenging yoga pose, achieving fitness goals can do wonders for our self-esteem and confidence levels. Connection: Movement isn't always about individual activities; it's also an excellent means of connecting with others. Participating in a fitness class, embarking on a hike with friends, or simply taking a stroll with a loved one can enhance relationships and cultivate a feeling of community. So, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting on your fitness journey, let's embrace the power of movement this Mental Health Awareness Week. Let's prioritize our well-being, one step, stretch, or dance move at a time. Together, let's move towards a happier, healthier mind. Whats your go to movement when it comes to clearing the mind and having a de-stress? 💪 #MoveForMentalHealth #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
