Bringing back #Ukraine’s displaced population and ensuring that the talent remaining in the country continues to stay are the two most essential factors for powering the post-war economic recovery. We teamed up with the German Marshall Fund of the United States to explore the role of education in the recovery process. The report War for Talent in Ukraine is the result of several months of work as part of our Support Digital Ukraine initiative. The study is addressed to students, educators, civil society representatives, entrepreneurs and policymakers and includes policy recommendations, as reforms are another key component of Ukraine’s successful recovery, and highlights business opportunities. We also asked a substantial group of young Ukrainians, between 16 and 34, about their plans and their future careers, and here’s what they told us: 📌 76.7% (47.5% of women and 36.4% of men) are ready to start or pursue their careers regardless of whether the war is over or not. 📌 40.4% of men and 29.1% of women said “Yes, if/when the war is over.” #SupportDigitalUkraine https://lnkd.in/etGBHJZv Mykhailo, Valeriya, Yevhen, Tyson, Penny, Nataliya, Roman, Clara, Alexander, Sergej, Ingrid-Gabriela, Mark, Anton, Andy, Olha, Olesya, Anna, Volodymyr, Dmytro, Anna, Sarah, Zoya, Jolanta, Olga, Julia, Iryna, George, Maria, Yulia, Peter, Kostiantyn, Tetiana, Andrey, Diana, Pavlo, Vasyl, Christopher, Henry, Emerging Europe
