This #WorldMentalHealthDay, our team discussed what one simple learning or action we could share that we know helps build connection and empathy.   It was easily the question we ask at the start of trainings: "What's the most important thing happening in your life right now?" If asked with sincerity and within psychological safety (survey anonymity helps), you get a flurry of human responses. Some funny 😄, some curious 🧐, some sad 😢, some devastating 😔, some weird 🤪 but all human 😎. This question can reveal a lot about your team and shifts focus to "What is important?" rather than "What is wrong?" or "What is good?" Above are some responses we've had at events and trainings over the past year.   You can imagine how the room shifts. The realisation that we're all just human and a renewed focus of what's important. So whatever you do this day and those moving forward, remember to ask the right questions. #wmhd #mentalhealth #empathy #relationships
