Meet the Founders! Seline F. and Maria Flavia Pieraccioni 's story began at the University of the Arts London, where both were studying Fashion Marketing. Seline, originally from Hong Kong, and Flavia, coming from New York, quickly became best friends. New to London, Seline faced a challenge that sparked the idea for Empera: she needed a makeup artist for an event she needed to attend but struggled to find trusted, local talent. Beauty service freelancers were scattered across Instagram, and trusting a stranger from social media didn’t feel right. When she shared this with Flavia, they both saw a clear gap in the market. From there, the idea for Empera was born. After graduation, both Seline and Flavia delved into the fashion and beauty industries. They conducted market research and interviewed numerous beauty freelancers working backstage at events, quickly discovering how prevalent this issue was. In December 2023, their vision became a reality and Empera was launched. Today, Empera is home to more than 40 exceptional beauty professionals, including makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail technicians, serving clients across London. Whether it’s for individual beauty needs or collaborating with brands on campaigns and shoots, Empera provides a trusted, community-driven platform. Our talented hairstylists, makeup artists, and nail technicians delivered personalised glam sessions, ensuring every guest was front-row ready. Guests were also treated to skincare prep by Natura Bissé, adding the perfect touch to their pre-glam experience.   This collaboration was a seamless blend of Nobu’s sophisticated luxury with Empera’s trusted beauty services, creating an unforgettable #GetReadyWithEmpera moment for the fashion and beauty community.
