Proactive Measures: Employers must not only respond to incidents of harassment but also implement strategies to prevent them from occurring in the first place. 2. Training and Awareness: It is essential for employers to provide comprehensive training for all employees, fostering a culture of respect and safety. 3. Policy Development: Review and update workplace policies to ensure they align with the new legal requirements and clearly outline procedures for reporting and addressing harassment. 4. Support Systems: Establish support mechanisms for employees who may experience harassment, ensuring they feel safe and supported in coming forward. Why do I stress to my team the importance of good client service? 🤔 Well, it helps build loyalty, fosters trust and must surely enhance business growth. Which is why I am asking more and more of my clients and key relationship contacts to tell me how we’re doing. 👍🏼 I won’t pretend it’s always perfect. It’s not. But the main thing for me is that we are striving to get it as good as we possibly can, as often as we can. Service is a key differentiator in a competitive market so we need to make it count. So thank you to client X who emailed me last night to say “you will never know how grateful we are that Y put us in touch with you. The service we have had could not be bettered. To have everyone [at EMW] knowing what’s going on, even when someone is away, prompt replies…proper client service!” Not rocket 🚀 science?! But not always easy to achieve.
