We did it! 🏆 We’ve won SBC's Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year! This award celebrates our pioneering work in promoting responsible gambling and supporting athletes across the U.S. From professional sports leagues to student-athletes, our outreach is helping educate thousands of current and future sports professionals in the U.S about responsible gambling and sports integrity.

This October, we celebrate Black History Month with the powerful theme: "Reclaiming Narratives" which marks a significant shift towards recognising and correcting the narratives of Black history and culture. It’s time to shine a light on the untold success stories and spotlight Black contributions to society, culture and history 🖤 In October 2023 we launched the BlackProfessionals@Entain network with a clear mission and vision: to create a culture and environment where Black colleagues can grow and thrive personally and professionally. We kicked off the month with an inspiring panel featuring Debbie Ellison, Andre Charles-Foster and Julio Bruno, moderated by Shemeleah G. Berry, our network Chair. The panel discussed the importance of measuring the impact of Employee Resource Groups and the empowering role allies can play. It’s moments like this that bring us all together particularly with our Chief People Officer, Melanie Tansey, and CEO, Gavin Isaacs, present. With a packed agenda for October, we’re excited to share and celebrate – stay tuned 👀 #BHM2024

Did you know we have over 2500 retail stores in the UK? 😯 Sean’s journey with us began 11 years ago as a cashier, and through hard work and determination, he moved into his current role as a recruiter based in our Stratford office in London. Over the past six months, Sean has been focused on finding top talent for our retail teams, ensuring we have the right people behind the counter to deliver exceptional customer experiences. 🙌 Sean has carved out his own journey by reaching out to stakeholders and leads in other departments. He connected with @Joe King, Recruitment Operations Manager who encouraged him to step in to the world of recruitment and his mentor @Priyanka Arora also played a significant role, recognising his potential in handling employee relations cases. Looking ahead, he’s excited about the new journey within the Resourcing team and the opportunities that lie ahead. What does an athlete look like to you? 🤔   As the Summer Games comes to a close, we hear from Para Archer, Lindsay Howard, about pursuing her Paralympic dream as a 51 year-old mum. 🎯   Together with SportsAid and our Pitching In funding initiative, we’ve been supporting a diverse cohort of talented British athletes with funding, training, and personal development opportunities.
