We’ve just released our 2024 Rab and Lowe Alpine Sustainability Report. For the last five years we’ve actively taken steps to reduce our impact. But realise that we, like everyone, must do more. Driven by performance and accuracy, we’ve taken the opportunity to pause, reflect, and change our approach. We’ve adjusted our journey with new GHG reporting methodology, improved primary data and recommitted to our net-zero ambition with new SBTi verified targets. Discover how we’re also taking action to ignite industry-wide change, improve standards in our supply chain, and foster partnerships for a positive impact. As our business continues to grow, we take the time to reflect on what comes next. Read our 2024 Sustainability Report👇 https://bit.ly/3mTUoZ2 #TheMountainPeople #WeAreRab

  • Our talented intern Arnice has been making waves at our Rab Service Centre in Leusden.   With her creative flair, she's taken our Second Stitch program to new heights. After a few trials, Arnice's unique touch is now evident in every jacket she crafts.   We're thrilled with the results, particularly when paired with our Down jackets.   Our Second Stitch service offers the same expert fixes as our standard repairs but uses end-of-life fabric roll ends, re-used and offcut materials- making it our lowest impact repair option.   Her beautiful artwork truly elevates our Second Stitch pieces… and proves popular among visitors of the Centre!    Explore our Service Centre 👇 https://lnkd.in/eAJJ4xPz

  • We’re excited to announce we’re teaming up with Grangers for a new strategic partnership! 🤝 This alliance brings together local heritage, industry-leading expertise, and a mutual commitment to a strong environmental agenda. Launching in our Rab Autumn/Winter 2025 down collection, the collaboration introduces Grangers Down Defend®, an innovative, bluesign® approved down treatment developed through extensive R&D between our technical teams that redefines down performance in the harshest conditions. Tim Fish, our Product Director, explains: “Ever since our earliest days, we have forged strong partnerships based on shared values. These alliances enable us to develop products that are better adapted to the extraordinary feats undertaken by our community of mountain people. Because whether you’re crafting apparel or launching an expedition, you can’t do it alone. It takes strong partnerships to achieve something beyond ordinary.” #WeAreRab #TheMountainPeople #MastersOfInsulation

  • We've just wrapped up our Rab Autumn/Winter 2025 International Sales Meeting at Glenmore Lodge in the Scottish Cairngorms. For us, spending time in the mountains isn't just a preference - it's essential to who we are and what we do. We are The Mountain People. This is where we gain inspiration for innovation, create long-lasting partnerships, and where we reconnect with our core purpose and passion. Being immersed in the environment our gear is designed for reminds us exactly why we do what we do. 🏔️ Now we’re excited to connect with our retail partners to share our latest product highlights and company developments – watch this space! #WeAreRab #TheMountainPeople

  • Today at our Rab AW25 International Sales Meeting, we've shared upcoming milestones of our ambitious CSR/ ESG strategy, reinforcing our commitment to drive industry-wide change. The Material Facts Collective continues to gain momentum, with 12 brands already on board to test and improve the Material Facts methodology, providing a scalable solution for the industry. The working group aims to publish a formalised and unbranded data methodology in 2025. Actively collaborating with our ingredients partners, we've met our target to phase out all intentional use of fluorocarbons (PFAS) from our ranges by AW25. But, our work doesn’t end there. Regular aftercare is essential for maintaining optimal performance, and we’re working with retailers and industry partners to improve education and resources for end-users.   👉 Find out more about the Material Facts Collective here: https://lnkd.in/enJCHNVt   #WeAreRab #TheMountainPeople

  • A warm welcome to our Rab Autumn/Winter 2025 International Sales Meeting at Glenmore Lodge! Over the next few days, we'll be unveiling new tech innovations across our key product ranges and sharing exciting company developments. Nothing beats having our global teams in one place, especially when that place is surrounded by the landscapes that inspire our gear. We're looking forward to a productive week together, with time to get out in the Scottish mountains between sessions! #WeAreRab #TheMountainPeople

  • Education is key for end-users as the outdoor industry shifts away from PFAS use. Last week we joined Cathy Casey and Wayne Singleton on the Outdoor Gear Chat podcast, to discuss the ongoing changes in waterproof products- and what that means for their performance and use. As the industry continues to switch to lower-impact options, the way we care for our products must change to maintain optimal performance. We explain why these changes are necessary, what end-users should expect from these new solutions, and why transparent education is essential. 🔉 You can listen to the podcast here… https://lnkd.in/eQJnFQe7   📚 And read more about our efforts to phase-out PFAS here… https://lnkd.in/eqktqSvG

  • We're looking for new members to join the Material Facts Collective!   Originally launched in 2023, we developed Material Facts tables as a methodology to provide consumers with a clear and simple standard for communicating sustainability credentials.   In Collaboration with the European Outdoor Group (EOG), the Material Facts Collective plans to take this to the next level. Bringing together industry partners, brands, and retailers with different product categories and materials, allows the original Material Facts Methodology to be tested, and improved.   With participation from leading brands across the UK, Europe, and the US, including Atomic, Finisterre, JD Outdoor, and ORTOVOX, the Collective aims to publish a formalised and unbranded data methodology in 2025.   Want to join us? We have the first working session planned at the end of the month!   Sign up here 👇 https://lnkd.in/enJCHNVt

  • We're looking forward to the European Outdoor Summit (EOS) in Cambridge next week!   You can catch us at two sessions 👇   On Thursday Jonathan Frederick our Group Marketing Director and Debbie Read, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR will take to the stage with Katy Stevens of the European Outdoor Group (EOG) to discuss ‘The Future of Sustainability Data’.   Together, they will emphasise why accurate and standardised sustainability data is essential, what best practice looks like when the industry works together and– how you can be part of shaping the data standard.   On Wednesday, Debbie will also join other members of the EOG Single Use Plastics Project to premiere a new short film. Aimed at consumers, retailers and vendors, it demonstrates what can be accomplished with industry-wide collaboration when we treat plastic as a valuable resource- and not as waste.   Find the full agenda and register for the summit at 👇 https://lnkd.in/eesvcww9   See you there!   #EOS2024 #Collaboration #WeAreRab
