The team outlined their five new differentiated pub formats which they will use to drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth, as well as cost efficiencies that will increase EBITDA margins and ultimately deliver £50m+ recurring free cash flow in the near term. Last week, members of the Equitory team attended the London Stock Exchange’s annual Debt Capital Markets conference – a forum that explores, analyses, and comments on topics most relevant to the bond market, featuring keynote presentations, panel discussions, and regulatory updates. It was an extremely engaging afternoon, with opening remarks from Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange, and speakers from prominent financial institutions such as RBC, Standard Chartered, and State Street, alongside global debt market and economic policymakers from The World Bank and The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Key takeaways from the day: ⬥One of the most impactful shifts discussed was the anticipated entry of retail investors into the UK corporate bond market ⬥Market and Investor Diversity - the forum underscored the growing diversity in both market options and investor bases ⬥The private debt market continues to grow, with increasing interest from issuers seeking tailored financing solutions that offer greater flexibility and lower disclosure requirements. While public bond markets remain the dominant source for capital raising, the rise of private placements highlights a trend toward more bespoke financial products ⬥A recurring theme throughout the day was the critical need for political, economic, and interest rate stability to support market growth #ir #investorrelations #bondmarkets #capitalmarkets #dcmforum
