As World Cancer Day approaches on February 4th, we are excited to introduce our "Steps for Support" challenge – an initiative bringing Ergéa colleagues and collaborators together to support cancer patients. We invite you to take on the challenge by contributing 10,000 steps through walking, jogging, or running. Before February 9th, share a screenshot from your fitness tracker and/or a photo from your walk, run, or jog in the comments section of this post. For every 10,000 steps logged through the comments on this post, Ergéa UK will donate £10 to Macmillan Cancer Support – up to a total of £5,000. The funds raised will go directly to Macmillan’s life-changing services, which provide everything from specialist healthcare to emotional support and financial assistance for people living with cancer. These services help ensure that no one faces cancer alone, and every donation counts towards this important work. Across Ergéa Group, we aim to reach a total of of 4.5 million steps, symbolising the projected number of people who will be diagnosed with cancer in Europe by 2025, according to the World Health Organization. This isn’t just a number – it represents real people, real stories, and the challenges faced by those affected by cancer. Please feel free to support the causes of our entities in Germany and Italy too: Medipass - Ergéa Group RadioOnkologieNetzwerk - Ergéa Group If we reach our groupwide target, Ergéa Group will make an additional contribution to each local charity, ensuring even more support for those who need it most. Let’s make every step count! #WorldCancerDay #StepsForSupport #CloseTheCareGap #MacmillanCancerSupport #CancerAwareness
