🚌 Escentral on tour! 🚌 Ben Moreland, Director of Escentral, recently attended the AUDE showcase and got the opportunity to discuss some of the key issues currently impacting space management in higher education. He joined some insightful working groups, including Hiral Patel's session on the 'Social Learn Campus - The Right Ingredients for Better Student Experience', a discussion on the merits and risks of including non-teaching student contact hours on student timetables, and the argument for the estate including the provision of dedicated spaces for these activities. It was a brilliant day, filled with valuable discussions and the chance to reconnect with both new and existing contacts. A big thank you to AUDE for organising such a successful event! Power BI is becoming more popular in the Higher Education sector as a tool for creating visualisations and drawing insights from timetables, attendance data, room lists, and other university datasets. But unlike Excel, which is a more general-purpose tool, university staff sometimes have less hands-on experience with Power BI given its more specialised functionality.
