About us

www.esos-energy.com ESOS-Energy Ltd works hard to find the correct solutions for you the client - ensuring you save both energy and money at the same time. Our expert advice will leave you in capable hands, as we offer full project management from auditing to installation. ESOS-Energy Ltd will help at every step of the way to ensure your ESOS compliance. An assessment or audit will include: 1. Measuring energy consumption We will measure what the organisation's total energy spend or consumption is over 12 months 2. Create Audit schedule This is based on the overall review from measuring total energy consumption in step 1. 3. Use established Methodology Data is collected to follow a methodology such as BS EN, ISO etc. 4. Site audits carried out The lead assessor will use discretion to decide on the number of site audits, but we suggest a minimum of at least one site visit per every different business area/operation type AND per enterprise 5. Create profile and generate measures We will provide you with an ESOS Compliance Evidence pack to be signed off by the Board level Director. We could adapt this to create a presentation to the board. After notification to the Environment Agency, we can then carry out free no-obligation surveys to give you real costs to implement some of the recommendations to actively start saving money on your energy bills. Auditing can be done to investment grade standard and this will allow us to create a scheme using a Energy Service Company (ESCo). The ESCo guarantees the level of energy savings, thus offering a secure financial saving over the period of the agreement, where financing will be available allowing no upfront additional costs.

  • The Energy Markets are rising 📈 Throughout 2024 various factors caused the market to rise from continued tension in the Middle East, Russia and Ukraine, Trump being elected as President and Weather conditions. February 2024 is when the market was at its lowest and the best time overall to buy your energy in 2024. The market remains volatile continuing into 2025, with further rises since Q4 2024. The colder weather is causing us to rely on gas storage causing the levels to reduce faster than expected. This is causing concern over the expectation of filling storage levels to 90% by the 1st November 2025, the current expectation is this won’t be achieved. We need Gas storage to ensure we have enough gas to support the Winter demand. If storage levels continue to fall, faster than expected, and we are unable to replenish the storage levels in time it will cause further volatility for Winter 2025. It was announced last year that the transit deal of Gas through the Sudzha metering point that runs through Russia will no longer be available as of December 2024. In September of last year, a fake news article was released suggesting Ukraine would do a swap deal with Azeri to replace this deal, causing the market to drop. However, this was confirmed as incorrect the following day causing prices to rise. There’s still uncertainty on what will replace this deal and support with future demand. We are relying heavily on the delivery of LNG to replenish storage levels throughout the Summer. LNG imports are not guaranteed as we are required to be the highest bidder. Weather conditions in Asia can cause us to lose out on LNG imports and rely solely on renewables and storage. Despite factors causing prices to rise, there are other factors helping to stabilise the market and reduce risk. French Power connectors are expected to remain stable throughout 2025 and the US's Cheniere Energy's Corpus Christi phase 3 expansion has started producing its first LNG and is expected to be fully commissioned by March 2025. We can’t guarantee what the markets will do throughout 2025 however there are more factors suggesting there will be an upward movement in price, rather than a drop. We are encouraging customers to start their renewals process at least 3 months ahead of their renewal to allow us to provide you with the right expectations. You can purchase your energy renewals up to 12 months ahead of your renewal. If you would prefer to secure a price now, regardless of when your contract ends, please do not hesitate to contact us. Greater Protection for Businesses from October 2024 🙌 From October 2024 all Energy Consultants/Brokers will be required to declare their commission to all customers regardless of size. In 2022 Ofgem announced Consultants/Brokers are required to disclose their fee to Microbusinesses but it was not a requirement to declare their fee to non-Microbusiness customers. From October 2024 all Consultants/Brokers will be required to disclose their fees and when you sign the supplier paperwork it will detail the information on the contract. This may be presented in various ways, a pence per kWh uplift, an annual contract value and/or total contract value. Further information can be found here: https://lnkd.in/eaEnkqFv If you pay your Consultant/Broker a fixed fee {directly to them} you shouldn't expect any uplift or cost to be added to your supplier contract. That said, in recent weeks I have worked with customers where it's come to light their Consultant/Broker was earning twice by charging them a small fee directly and including a larger uplift in their contract. If you have already signed your contracts you still have the right to ask what their charges are. If they fail to disclose contact the supplier directly. At ESOS-Energy Ltd we disclose our fees to our customers before contracts are signed. You will always know what we earn and what service we will deliver for this fee. Trust and Transparency are important to a long working relationship! 🤝 If you need any further advice or guidance please do not hesitate to contact me directly on ☎ 0117 930 9689. #energy #utilities #energyprices
