The Essential Pharma team was thrilled to attend CPHI Europe 2024 in Milan last week. It was an excellent opportunity to meet with industry specialists, prospective partners, and existing suppliers from across the global pharma supply chain.   We engaged in insightful discussions on the latest industry trends and novel breakthroughs whilst sharing our own ambitious growth plans. Last week, our team joined International Health Partners for their Essential Health Pack (EHP) packing day at the Alloga warehouse. Each EHP contains essential medicines that can treat 800 patients in any given setting, including a range of prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines donated by pharmaceutical partners, to support critical primary healthcare. It was inspiring to learn about the far-reaching impact of these packs, recognising the importance of our industry uniting to bridge the healthcare gaps in vulnerable communities across the globe. Just wrapped up another engaging #TogetherWeek at Essential Pharma!   We were delighted to welcome colleagues from across the company to our UK headquarters to spend valuable time together. It gave everyone the opportunity to collaborate, strengthen relationships and enhance communication. We engaged in thought-provoking discussions and team-building activities, fostering connections and sharing insights across departments.   There was lots of socialising in the evening. Our charity bake sale in support of Macmillan Cancer Support showcased the culinary talents of our team while raising funds for a truly worthy cause. 🍰   It's always energising to see our global team come together, living our company’s values and strengthening the bonds that make Essential Pharma such a special place to work. More people than ever need rapid humanitarian assistance, a need far exceeding the resources of NGOs and governments. This #WorldHumanitarianDay, we recognize the importance of our industry uniting to provide quality medical donations for vulnerable communities in crisis and support frontline humanitarians risking their lives daily. Through partnerships with NGOs like International Health Partners, Essential Pharma supported operations that met the needs of over 7.5 million people last year. Addressing global needs requires a global effort; today, we recommit to bridging the healthcare gaps that help those most at risk from crises.

Last week one of our wonderful colleagues, Joanne H., volunteered her time and expertise at an event run by SATRO: Education charity promoting STEM & employability skills, an esteemed educational charity partner to schools and businesses.   SATRO focuses on promoting #STEM, Construction, and Employability skills, making a significant impact in South Central England.   Joanne had the pleasure of supporting a Business and Enterprise game for Year 9 students at Heathbridge School in Weybridge, Surrey. The event engaged them in various activities, including designing a product, negotiating contracts, managing cashflow as well as delivering on timing, quality control and finally presenting their work.   Through this immersive experience, students worked together in teams, gaining invaluable insights into the real-world business environment and starting to develop and practice essential skills. Joanne's participation in this event reflects Essential Pharma's commitment to community engagement and supporting educational initiatives.
