Thank you to all of our Members who attended the Euronics Gamechangers Conference last weekend at the De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor. It was a privilege to have your time and attention as we shared the roadmap for taking back control and defining our own way forward tomorrow. We were proud to announce our big reveal, the culmination of two years' work, with the launch of our very own new and exclusive brands: Sensis and Schönhaus. We believe these brands are the ‘Gamechangers’ we’ve all been waiting for and will be essential for our long-term presence in the High Street. Thank you again for a great Conference and your ongoing support.

Our second worthy winner of this quarter's Employee Recognition Scheme was Katie Wilkinson. Amongst other things Katie is responsible for coordinating the podcast for our members and colleagues to ensure that everyone is kept abreast of the latest news. Well done Katie for doing an incredible job: organising the interviewees, making sure everyone is available on the day, liaising with Wildwood Plus, ensuring everyone is happy with how their interview sounds before the podcast goes live. #communication #welldone

This quarter we had a couple of worthy winners for our Employee Recognition Scheme and it is with great pleasure that I can say well done to Kevin Robinson who received not one but two nominations from colleagues. Kevin is highly respected for the support and patience he has with colleagues who are learning new procedures whilst he juggles the demands of his own role. Communication is key to creating an inclusive culture and great to see colleagues starting to arrive early for this quarter's Town Hall meeting. I recently updated one of our colleague's length of service as they hit their 20th year milestone and wondered how many years had been clocked up in total - I was humbled to see that nearly a third of our team contributed 390 years experience, knowledge and loyalty to our members and when this is shared with our newer colleagues we can make an awesome team. #teamwork #thankyou

I can’t believe that a week ago today we made the decision to close our offices so that all of our colleagues had the opportunity to attend our first ever offsite team building event at Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House enabling colleagues to mix with other teams, departments and locations that they may not necessarily do in the normal course of their working day; something which we felt was important to support the culture of our business and ensure we all take this step together and learn to grow as ’One Team’. Whilst some colleagues were pushed out of their comfort zone, for others the day tested their courage, however, together we learnt that we are all different and it is that difference that makes us a great team. What was humbling to see through the ebb and flow of the different activities and sessions professionally lead by Helen Askey PhD of Orange Pip was the interaction, support and encouragement by everyone, and the growth of laughter and achievement as colleagues began to come together. One of our afternoon sessions was run by Off Limits® Event Professionals who led the creation of two masterpieces which will soon be hung in our offices as a proud reminder of what we achieved together. So, a huge thank you to everyone that attended and for the commitments you made to your team and yourselves.  Also, thank you to our Board of Directors for enabling us to take this day to develop and grow as a Team. #together #teamwork #success

Euronics UK is delighted to announce that we recently won an award for the Best Marketing & Advertising Campaign award at the IER Awards 2024. Our 'Closer than you Know' campaign celebrated the close proximity of our member-run stores whose owners live in the community they serve, and in many cases, are family-run businesses.
