In theory, it is no surprise that if an EV can manage to combine a c. $30,000 price point with the brand recognition and electric pedigree of Tesla, it could be set to capture swathes of the market beyond anything the EV industry has seen before. But since Tesla has confirmed the highly-touted compact Model 2, concrete projections for market share have been lacking - that is until Bloomberg analysts predicted that the car will be set for 1 million annual sales.
