We’re excited to share that we’ve been appointed as Owners Representative to assist with the planned outage of the 38MW Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant. Our team Tim Galbraith and Chris Hobson are delighted to be working alongside Schroders Greencoat LLP and BWSC on this fantastic renewable energy project and work is well underway to carry out the works safely and to bring the plant back online. ♻️🌎⚡️

We were delighted to welcome members from the Derry Chamber Anna Doherty M IDM President Greg McCann Steven Lindsay Andrew Fleming to the Evero Lisahally Power Station site this week and see first hand the state of the art BWSC facility and discuss the many exciting energy projects that are being developed in the NW and the opportunities for local companies to get involved. #energy #netzero

Great to spend the afternoon with other energy leaders at SURGE, a new industry event by Carson McDowell X GP JOULE in Belfast. It was a pleasure to meet and hear from Irelands leading economist David McWilliams who led the way on discussing the importance of non conventional thinking in these exceptional times of change. We also heard updates from Benjamin Henecka NALA Energy, Kevin O Donovan Statkraft and Jeremy Poots & Paul Martin Mammoth Brand and Design on the trends, challenges and progress that’s being made across the energy sector both in Ireland and beyond. Without a doubt the most inspiring energy event that’s happened in Ireland in a long time and this afternoons guest speakers will undoubtedly inspire more of us to keep developing new sustainable energy projects and stay focussed on helping the country keep progressing towards net zero. David McWilliams referred to “Cathedral thinking” during his discussion whereby we should develop, design and build projects and infrastructure now, knowing that it will probably not be completed in our lifetime but it will be used by the generations who come after us or those who haven’t even been born yet. Quoting the WB Yeats Poem “The Second Coming” McWilliams asked the best in the room to have conviction in what we do and take the lead on what needs done in these challenging times and not get complacent. “The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.” WB Yeats Powerful words, an inspirational afternoon and a lot of food for thought…. 🙏 massive thanks to Neasa Quigley Dawson McConkey Le-ann Campbell
