We’re proud to have had our Annual Tickled Pink Ball last week, we had a real party with a purpose! 💕💗 Supporting Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! we raised an incredible £1.45m for our breast cancer partnership and our ticket sales partner GroceryAid. It was a glamorous regency themed evening filled with entertainment from live theatrical acts to our talented host Comedienne Ellie Taylor, headline act McFly and RPJ band closing the event. We had fundraising games played across the evening with over 1,700 guests from our supplier network and Asda colleagues all taking part to make this the most successful event to date. Thanks to our supplier sponsors and Asda Executive team for their contributions on the night, this funding will be supporting the vital education research, support and services delivered by all of our charity partners. ⭐Our Cashpot for Schools initiative fronted by Joe Wicks has now raised a massive £4m for local primary schools in the UK! ⭐   As part of the campaign, we're donating 0.5% of the value of customers’ shopping to a primary school of their choice every time they shop using Asda Rewards. All 22,000 state-funded UK primary schools can get involved with the scheme, and over 21,500 have signed up so far. A total of 42 schools already have over £1,000 of funding in their cashpots and over 2,000 have cashpots worth over £500. This cash will go direct to schools for them to spend on whatever they need, so will go on to make a genuine difference. If you’ve not signed up already, what are you waiting for?!

Last Thursday was a fun and vibrant day at Asda House as we welcomed some of our key suppliers ahead of the upcoming Diwali celebrations!   The event brought a lot of excitement as colleagues got the chance to sample delicious products from Rubicon and Laila.
