It’s been fantastic to bring together two of our West Midlands based partners in Birmingham City FC / Birmingham City FC Foundation and EXCELR8 Motorsport for the official launch of our Team VERTU racing livery for the 2025 British Touring Car Championship season. This took place during the latest round of the #VertuPrimarySchoolsCup, and it was excellent to see the reactions of more than 160 children to the new-look cars, which they helped to reveal. It was a brilliant way to involve a large community programme in the reveal, and celebrate young talent, to which all three businesses are proud to champion through various initiatives. “When men empower us, that’s when we can truly see change” Congratulations to Yorkshire County Cricket Club who put on a brilliant #IWD event this morning. We heard stories of adversity, words of wisdom and a brilliant anecdote of a foot model from a panel including Alexandra Fogal, Caitlin Beevers, Justina Williams, Claire Gibson and others. I’ve yet to meet a woman who can’t build a network. Yet, as our panel pointed out, we’re not always great at using that network and leaning on it for support.
