The COP29 Azerbaijan climate summit starts today in Baku, Azerbaijan, where hydrogen is expected to be a prominent topic of discussion. World leaders, industry experts, and environmental advocates will discuss its crucial role in achieving global climate goals. As we look to forge a path towards a net-zero future, hydrogen is being hailed as the "magic molecule" for its potential to support the world’s renewable energy targets. We sat down with Richard Washington, Professor of Climate Science at the University of Oxford, and Chair of Extreme E's Scientific Committee to delve more deeply with some of hydrogen’s most important questions 👇

COP29 Azerbaijan is a vital platform for urgent decisions that could shape our planet's future. Ecobriques: reusable building blocks made by filling up PET bottles with dry and non-recyclable waste In In Extreme E’s first season, the championship raced at Lac Rose, Dakar on the Senegalese coast. In conjunction with to.org, Extreme E supported the EcoZone Project, a living lab that addresses the Lac Rose community’s primary needs while preserving the environment through circular economy solutions, experiential learning and regenerative agriculture. Game face strong 💯 It was great to have Timmy Hansen with us to test the Pioneer 25. Being an experienced Extreme E driver meant that Timmy could compare the Pioneer 25 and see the development first-hand from the Odyssey 21. Let's just say he definitely had fun.

Catie Munnings joined the show to speak about her experience in Extreme E, the platform it has given female drivers as the first gender-equal motorsport series and her recent experience testing the Pioneer 25 in preparation for Extreme H in 2025.
