About us

F&L Search is an executive search firm that works across capital markets in both the UK and US, with a particular focus on the equities and multi-asset space. At F&L Search we utilise the experience and network gained from working with some of the best known and established names in the industry. Founded in 2015, we aim to react to market shifts caused by a variety of factors, including regulatory changes such as MiFID II, and to focus on servicing a different range of clients. Today we work with those who are benefiting from regulation changes and market trends; institutions who are looking to challenge the established players who have historically dominated the capital markets space. F&L Search works with a selection of Independent Research Houses, mid-tier banks and a wide range of buy-side institutions and, on the other side, with individuals who are becoming increasingly aware that the few players who have historically dominated the market no longer have the appetite or opportunities to cater to the vast number of talented and ambitious individuals in the market. We look to bridge the gap between today’s talent and tomorrow’s opportunities, looking not only to anticipate the market shifts but to take an active role in facilitating them. F&L Search extends across both the UK and US markets in order to service a select group of clients. We build and maintain strong relationships with these clients in order to best meet their needs, ensuring that they get the maximum benefit from our broad knowledge of the capital markets space, are up to date with market movements and, ultimately, are connected with the best individuals for the opportunities that they offer.

    360 sales people? Or new business and account management specialist? It is a CONSTANT debate in sales teams - and everyone seems to have a view. We used our survey data to look at what people wanted and how happy they are. Full report (5 min read, free) can be downloaded from our website: https://lnkd.in/gVduma6X There are some interesting gendered trends that come out as well for those of you interested in gender diversity in sales teams. A few key take aways... 1) sales people prefer roles that include new business AND account management 2) men tend to be happier with a wider range, as well as care less in general (ie., if you aren't that considerate of the split you are much more likely to put off female sales people) 3) pure hunters (100% new business) are the hardest to fill roles, so presumably the most attractive skill set to have This is part three in an ongoing series - part 1 & 2 are also available on the website.
