Leading GenAI Implementation for Global Insurance & Finance Markets

🎉 Exciting news! Our team at Aviva has been named a finalist for the BCS UK IT Awards – “AI Innovation of the Year”! 🏆   Over the past year, we’ve built a bespoke AI platform designed to meet Aviva’s evolving needs in this rapidly changing landscape. The platform will not only help reduce duplicated effort when building AI-driven applications but also enable a centralised approach to AI, allowing us to:   ✅ Better understand and track AI usage across the business ✅ Enhance our controls and ensure regulatory adherence ✅ Provide a uniform, safety-first approach to AI aligned with Aviva’s strategic goals   This project has been a true team effort, and I’m grateful to our collaborators from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Faculty, and a number of others for their invaluable expertise.   This recognition reflects the innovation, hard work, and commitment to responsible AI that has driven this initiative.   I'm excited to see the positive impact this will have on our business and the industry as a whole! #UKITAWARDS #AI #Innovation #ResponsibleAI #Aviva #SafetyFirst #TeamWork #TechLeadership #TechForGood

🗣 “There are AI technologies that have been used for decades that are totally safe. By embracing those effectively, it will help diagnose cancer earlier, and will help nurses do their paperwork more effectively. We can’t get too extreme and lose the opportunities that those technologies progress.” 🌟Our CEO and co-founder, Dr. Marc Warner spoke to BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg yesterday. They discussed AI in healthcare and how it can safely make staff more productive. 🚀 Last night, we had the pleasure of bringing together the #FacultyFellowship network for our Annual Alumni Event. As we mark 10 years of the programme, it was inspiring to reunite with so many talented individuals who have transitioned from dedicated fellows to leaders in AI and data science at top companies—and even here at Faculty.  Our Fellowship bridges the gap between academia and industry by connecting organisations with exceptional STEM PhDs, Master’s and postdocs to work on custom #AI projects. But everything flows from the business problem.” Our co-founder, Angie Ma spoke to Bloomberg earlier, discussing the “AI paradox” and how businesses get maximum value from AI investments.
