🇭🇳 During our recent visit to Honduras we also delivered five tilapia workshops. 🐟 The workshops focused on assessing tilapia welfare using the FAI tilapia welfare app, with one workshop introducing the science of tilapia welfare. The trainees included a fish vet plus farm managers and technicians from several local farms. 📝 🐟 Using a mix of classroom and practical sessions, we delivered comprehensive training to help producers understand and monitor welfare in a variety of settings. 🇭🇳 Our eLearning Manager, Sara Barrento and COO MURILO QUINTILIANO recently visited Honduras to deliver a shrimp farming workshop for Grupo Granjas Marinas (GGM) and Seafarms with Shannon Roberts and Jose Luis Avila Castillo. 🦐 The session saw 68 people trained on how to assess the welfare of the white leg shrimp using the 3-level scoring system. 🐮 A joy to present our* Regen Dairy work this PM in Amsterdam with the fabulous Sophie Gregory and the brilliant Jo Lawrence. The session was hijacked by the tech pixies so our slides failed to appear until we were half way through - and check out Sophie’s choice of notepad - but while it was sometimes chaotic, our panel was pretty energetic and usually entertaining! 🐟🌍 New partnership launched to enhance #tilapia welfare in #Egypt! 🤝#FAI #Farms has joined forces with Egypt's Central Lab for #Aquaculture Research (CLAR) and Ethical Seafood Research to advance #fishwelfare in the #Egyptian tilapia sector. 🗣 “By tailoring welfare practices to Egypt’s specific needs, we hope Egypt can emerge as a global #leader in #tilapiawelfare.
