Falmouth Pilot Services supply safe and efficient Pilotage for the Falmouth Pilotage area, positioned close to the English Channel approaches. Pilots are contracted from Falmouth Pilots LLP. The partnership of six pilots holds an extensive amount of knowledge and experience, and is supported by a dedicated team of pilot boat crew and support staff to offer a comprehensive, 24/7 service. The service supports the diverse range of operations in the area and supplies Pilotage to the multiple port authorities; Falmouth Harbour Commissioners, Port of Truro, The Falmouth Docks & Engineering Company and the quarries on the east side of the Lizard peninsula. The area provides a wide range of services to shipping, including; - deep water bunkering outside of the Sulphur Emissions Control Area (SECA), - alongside berths and dry docks via A&P Falmouth, - cargo handling, - large commercial moorings and lay up facilities, - personnel transfer and stores, - over/under carried pilot reception, - underwater survey, - sheltered anchorages, - super yacht facilities, - general port services.
