It was a sincere pleasure to welcome Wendy Morton MP to our office launch last week.. interesting discussion was had around the importance of nurturing local talent in the area which is a topic we hold dear at Farcroft. Danny Bennett and the team were elated to help Wendy cut the ribbon on what’s been a long awaited arrival of our new custom designed Centre of Excellence; built to both service the industry in times of need and furthermore train and develop talent in a sector truly in need. We continue to grow… Farcroft Group... Raising the standards of Restoration

We were deeply saddened to hear the news about ISG today. A great outfit that has delivered many commendable projects over the years. If anyone in the team has found themselves looking for work as a result, and has skill sets in the Heritage space, particularly in Project Management, do contact us. We might have work for you. Otherwise wishing everyone our thoughts at this time. Farcroft Group Danny Bennett

"Not all treasures are made of gold; some are made of moments and memories." Truly irreplaceable. Farcroft Group are often privileged to be trusted with items of real sentimental value. This beautiful toilet cistern was handcrafted for a couples wedding day and after many years of use had not only corroded in places causing leaks but had also tarnished. We delicately restored the item to ensure it could be used again without leaking and then polished it. What a wonderful feeling to see the tears streaming down our clients' face when we fitted it for them! If you have items that would benefit from specialist skill we would love to hear from you! www.farcroftgoup.com 01922 458 555

Ever since my very first day when Danny Bennett walked me through one of the studios I was hooked… Whenever I’m in the office I always make some time to visit the Centre of Excellence here at the Farcroft Group It’s always amazing to me to see the restoration team in action in their studios. The skill sets they possess really are the secret of how we manage to do what we do when it comes to taking the seemingly unrestorable and resultantly putting a smile on someone’s face when it’s returned. This particular example of the inner section of a chime clock being put back together is particularly inspiring. When it arrived to us it was virtually destroyed. If you’d like to know more about how we do what we do then contact Gareth LeClare or Owen Lucas in the first instance here at the Farcroft Group

"The Glorious Playground" Gleneagles Hotel nestles resplendently in the Ochil Hills in central Scotland and having just turned 100 this year this amazing building is still renowned for its beauty and sumptuous charm. During the refurbishment of the Great Ballroom in 2019 Farcroft Group were engaged to remove and restore the crystal chandeliers and corresponding wall lights. In a delicate operation a team of our specialists attended and dismantled the lights crystal by crystal and packaged them for the journey back to our studio. Once here a team of 7 restorers worked their magic in record time - it took just 6 days to return the fittings to their home. The fast turnaround and swift, skillful restoration meant the Great Ballroom was looking its finest in time for their next event. For context these chandeliers were an astonishing 4 metres tall and had over 14,000 crystals between them! We understand the pressures of working in hospitality - fast paced and demanding, yet rewarding when the end result greets guests upon their arrival. Congratulations to all at Gleneagles for reaching your 100 year milestone! If your hotel or hospitality venue is calling out for our expertise reach out to us. www.farcroftgroup.com

Nothing beats the beauty of a Minton floor in a well preserved victorian town house! The history of Minton tiles is a fascinating study starting in #StokeonTrent Did you know that these tiles even made it across the Atlantic and grace three rooms in the White House? This floor was restored by Farcroft Group conservators in a property in Yorkshire...each tile carefully restored and broken tiles exchanged with colour-matched hand-made replacements. Reach out to us with your Minton flooring requirements. www.farcroftgroup.com
