Born circa 2010, our MD grabbed mayo by the eggs and created our famous namesake sauce, right in our OG restaurants kitchen. Made in-house, daily, to a strict secret recipe, growth and increased demand meant we needed a helping hand in production, but who could we trust with our top sauce secrets? 👀 Step in Harvey & Brockless 🤝 A well trusted, familiar face to us as they had already been supplying our cheese and dairy items for a while. Fast-forward to today and they’re now producing and distributing over ONE TONNE of your favourite Fat Hippo sauce per week, as well as a wide range of sauces including our spicy Hippo Hot and our unique BBQ. 🍔 The recipe to this day is still a secret only known by a few (who are forbidden from travelling together!) but can you have a wild guess at what’s in it? 🤐
