Mr FAYAT was honoured to be invited by Stuart CROOKS to visit HPC site to meet with NNB and the Fayat Lifting Ltd team as they make final preparations to start the commissioning of the turbine hall crane fleet including the 300 T gantry crane be used by Arabelle Solutions (EX GE) in the coming months. After touring site Mr Fayat had the opportunity to share with the Fayat Lifting Ltd team his perspectives on the UK and domestic nuclear market with the recent new contract signed by FAYAT Group entities for SZC. [ Suivi de #chantier ] 👷♀️ ✅ Les équipes de notre filiale anglaise Fayat Lifting Ltd ont installé avec succès le pont roulant unité 1 de 300t dans la future salle des machines de la centrale nucléaire d'Hinkley Point C ! 👉 Les 3 composants principaux du pont ont été levés au-dessus du pont de 20t récemment installé. Une fois mis en service, ce pont sera utilisé pendant les phases de construction, d’exploitation et de démantèlement. Cette activité constitue une étape clé en 2023 pour le projet HPC fixé par EDF (Royaume-Uni), et donc l'aboutissement de nombreuses années d'engagement de nos équipes. #HPC #Nuclaire #Levage #Metal #Construction ✅ Our English subsidiary Fayat Lifting Ltd have successfully installed the Unit 1 300t overhead crane in the future turbine hall of the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant ! 👉 The 3 major components of the crane were lifted into position above the recently installed 20t crane. Once commissioned, this crane will be put to use during the construction, operation and decommissioning phases. This activity was a key 2023 milestone for the HPC project set by EDF (UK), and thus the culmination of many years of dedication for our teams. #HPC #Nuclear #metal #build

[ suivi de #chantier] ✔ Une étape importante du projet vient d’être franchie avec l’impressionnant levage du premier pont roulant (HM 20t Unit 1) sur le site de la centrale nucléaire EDF : Hinkley Point C. 👉 Ce pont, mesurant 52m de long et pesant 90t, a été levé par 2 grues à plus de 35m de haut pour être inséré sur ses voies de roulement dans le bâtiment. Une opération exceptionnelle réalisée par nos équipes et qui sera renouvelée pour l’installation des prochains équipements. #HPC #Nuclaire #Levage #Metal #Construction Fayat Lifting Ltd ✔ An important milestone in the project has just been reached with the impressive lifting of the first overhead crane (HM 20t Unit 1) on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant site. 👉 This crane, measuring 52m long and weighing 90t, was lifted by 2 cranes to more than 35m high to be inserted on its rails in the building.
