The Power of Interns Its no secret that we love to accommodate and educate young people in print, and for the past 3 months we've had the pleasure of hosting our latest Intern Marissa Meier, a student from Brigham Young University – Marriott School of Business in Utah, USA. Arriving in early September, Marissa quickly got to work on her main objectives as well as experiencing our workflow and processes by spending time in each department, understanding the different forms in which jobs come in and are processed, getting involved in artworking and understanding how and why jobs are impositioned differently for print based on the many forms of finishing types and processes. Along the way Marissa picked up to a high standard, skills in Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, she put these skills to use by designing two personal projects during her time with us, a beatuiful family Christmas Card and a Life as an Intern/Life in London 24pp brochure with two different stories–you read one story to the middle, then flip the brochure over and read the other one. With a eagerness to learn and a can do attitude, Marissa quickly became part of the team and we will miss her contributions, we wish her a safe journey home and all the best with her future studies and endeavours. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the incredible value interns bring to the table! 🙌 💡 Fresh Perspectives: Interns often see things through a new lens, bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the workplace. 🚀 Energy & Enthusiasm: Their eagerness to learn and grow can be contagious, boosting morale and productivity for the whole team. 🤝 Future Leaders in Training: By investing in interns, we’re shaping the next generation of professionals.
