Our Staines Clubhouse has turned one! Last year the pilot was launched to provide Restart customers with the opportunity to improve their mental health, engage in meaningful activities with others and support their journey back to sustainable employment. Today, members old and new got back together to celebrate Clubhouse turning one over some food and games. We caught up with members to see how Clubhouse has impacted their lives, with one member saying: "It gave me a purpose and a reason to get up and be active, mix with like-minded people who became friends. It's been good to see the community grow." Paul Wickson, our Director of Health and Wellbeing, said: “We’ve had some amazing success with our Clubhouse members since opening Riverside Clubhouse in Staines one year ago. We’ve supported people to manage mental health challenges, reduce social isolation and helped people achieve their job goals. We’ve recently opened an additional Clubhouse in Brighton and look forward to supporting more people to achieve positive outcomes.” Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate, we can't wait to watch Clubhouse thrive and expand over the next year. ❤️ #FedcapClubhouses #RiversideClubhouse
