It was fantastic to see one of our trustees, Daniel Reyland CSyP, FCMI, F.ISRM, being asked to represent the Felix Fund at the National CBRN Centre Remembrance Service on Monday. With serving personnel, veterans and our blue light partners it embodies what Felix Fund is there to support. We are here to help any military or SO15 (Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Unit) personnel who have conducted or assisted with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and search duties. #LeastWeForget #NCBRNC #Remembrance

“I'm a triple amputee and had been looking to get back into the gym as I have been having issues sleeping for some years. Friends in similar situations said exercise would help with this as well as my mental well-being. Gyms near my home are not only very expensive, but there are only a few pieces of equipment I can actually use. Having cleared a room in my flat I looked into what would work for me in both space and cost. The quotes I got were pretty high and they didn’t offer any finance options. I spoke to Blesma who recommend I reach out to Felix Fund. They quickly agreed to pay for half the costs of the equipment which has already made the world of difference.” #howwehelp #supportingfelix

Honouring Joshua Forster's Legacy On Saturday, 14th September, Josh Forster's family held a charity fundraiser in memory of their beloved son and brother, Joshua, who would have turned 30 on the 16th September. Joshua served in an EOD and Search role with 35 Regiment, Royal Engineers, and had a deep passion for Felix Fund. Tragically, he lost his life to suicide in March 2023. To keep Josh's memory alive, his family organised a 30th birthday fundraiser. Their incredible effort raised £3,000 with £1,500 generously donated to Felix Fund and the other half benefitting a cystic fibrosis charity. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event. Your contributions will help us continue our vital work. 🌟 Felix Fund at the Emergency Services Show🌟 I had the pleasure of representing Felix Fund at the Emergency Services Show on the 18th and 19th of September. It was an incredibly busy and rewarding experience! A huge shoutout to Hazel Waddingham, one of our dedicated volunteers. Hazel and I worked seamlessly together, making an awesome team. Day one was so busy that we ran out of merchandise, but thanks to Jason Hart TMIET who made a quick trip to Vauxhall Barracks, we were fully stocked for day two! I also had the honour of meeting Graham Cole, who played PC Tony Stamp for 25 years in the ITV series, The Bill. Thank you, Hazel, for the introduction! Meeting Graham brought back fond childhood memories of watching The Bill - I was a big fan and remember it well! Overall, it was a fantastic few days of raising awareness, making new connections, and securing vital funds for Felix Fund. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand and supported our cause! #FelixFund #EmergencyServicesShow #Fundraising #CommunitySupport #Volunteering

🎉Congratulations to LCpl Ryan Griffin🎉 Ryan has successfully completed the gruelling Dodentotch (Deathmarch) in Belgium, raising £155 for Felix Fund. He conquered the 100km march in 23hrs 17 mins with a moving time of an incredible 18hrs 41 minutes! Reflecting on his achievement, Ryan shared, "It was difficult at points but overall an amazing opportunity." There is still time to support Ryan's efforts to support the EOD&S community and help him reach his fundraising target. Every donation makes a difference! https://lnkd.in/eMbbe5gs
