When we asked our team about their learning experience, both our L&D initiative and the CTRM course were commended for the opportunity to develop theoretical and practical counter-terrorism initiatives. Mark McQuade, Senior Operations Manager, praised the L&D budget, highlighting how FGH’s dedication to improvement is not simply a promise but a reality with which our directors invest. David Mangan, Account Director, found the course excellent in showing how security teams can continue to minimise potential harms with the goal of ‘Keeping People Safe’. Hi!Viz Day 2024 🦺 Today, #TeamFGH supported the The City Security Council in London and Greater Manchester with Hi!Viz Day. The aim of this day is to come together as a cohesive team, share intel and be a visible presence. This was the inaugural event for CSC Greater Manchester, but hopefully the first of many. 🐝 Our Retail Security Officers were visible with the team at The Trafford Centre. 🌳 Peter Harrison MBA, and Andrew Martin visited Mayfield Park with Land Securities, Impact Services Ltd, Eccellerate Services and Radisson Edwardian. 🔒 As usual, the NWEC Patrol Team were #KeepingPeopleSafe on the streets of London. #HiVisibilityDay  #CitySecurityCouncil #WorkingTogetherForASaferCity

Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour 8/8 ✅ Taylor Swift’s epic Eras Tour London has come to an end, bringing the European leg of the record-breaking tour to a close. Principal Members 🤝 We are pleased to share that we recently became a principal member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) in the Security Officers Section. This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Mike Reddington and John MacAskill MSyl from the BSIA to FGH Security Head Office. 📝 As well as the great opportunity for a face-to-face welcome, it presented an opportunity to discuss a variety of matters concerning the industry, including the need for Mandatory Business Licensing. 💡Peter Harrison MBA and Ben Knott also got to hear about the incredible 3P campaign that focuses on improving the image of the security industry: People, Property, Places - Professionally Protected. The BSIA has led the way for over 50 years in shaping the private security industry. They support and encourage excellence; educating the marketplace on the value of quality and professional security; and create an environment in which to flourish. MTP SPOTLIGHT: Akim Grant 🎓 💡 Akim is on our Management Training Program, a 12-month training program embedded with our organisational culture and values. 📈 The MTP generates sustainable growth and succession planning through the career development of our supervision team into future leaders. 📚 The content for this course was selected and designed by a multidisciplinary team that included subject matter specialists from FGH Training and our Operations Team. Akim primarily works as part of the NWEC Street Patrol Team but has stepped into additional working areas during the program. We asked him how he was finding it: "It has been a tremendous development journey so far. It's amazing that there's a program that develops existing team members for continued growth and prosperity. I've had a lot of wonderful opportunities and experiences, with many standout moments: working at Co-op Live events in Manchester, the Champions League Final at Wembley, and flying to Portugal with FGH Consult for Afro Nation, just to name a few. Truly amazing scenes and memories to last a lifetime.  My exposure to these opportunities and hearing all the positive feedback has inspired me to further develop my skills, keep showing up, and continue #KeepingPeopleSafe. 🫡 There is always a positive in every situation.
