A truly fabulous day at Fife College CECA site, where our South Lanarkshire College CECA Scotland Academy learners engaged in an insightful exchange. We shared best practices, fostering collaboration that will greatly benefit learners from both colleges. Huge thanks to all involved at Fife Frazer Walker

An historic graduation! So proud of our NHS graduates today as they received their qualifications. Our collaboration with our partners at NHS Fife has been so fruitful. We all were emotional at today’s event. Working and studying is hard. The effort to do a qualification like this whilst working long shifts takes grit and determination. I am as proud as punch today! Some members of the Fife College Board of Governors had a tour of the new college campus in Dunfermline this afternoon. It was my first visit to the site and it was great to see the innovative plans and hear what is still to be done before the building will be handed over to the college.

🤝 A huge thank you to Persimmon Homes for donating 𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 bricks to our new Dunfermline Campus! This donation comes as we prepare to open Scotland’s first net-zero-ready tertiary education building later this year 🧱 #PersimmonHomes #FifeCollege #BuildingFutures
20,000 bricks donated to Fife College 🧱🎓 We were proud to donate 20,000 bricks to Fife College’s new Dunfermline Campus, helping to support construction students as they develop their practical skills on site. Our Regional Apprenticeship Manager, William Smith, officially handed over the bricks to Jim Metcalfe, Principal of Fife College, joined by Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP, The Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice and MSP for #Dunfermline. The donation will provide more hands-on learning opportunities for students, allowing them to spend more time on the tools as they work towards completing their qualifications. The new Dunfermline Campus, set to open later this year, will be Scotland’s first net-zero-ready tertiary education building, bringing together Fife College, St Columba’s RC High School, and Woodmill High School in a collaborative learning environment. As a five-star builder, we’re proud to support the next generation of skilled tradespeople across Scotland. Our brick factory in Doncaster produces over 72 million bricks per year – enough to stretch from Dunfermline to Delhi and back again! #ScottishApprenticeshipWeek #BuildingFutures #PersimmonHomes
