If you have experience as a Care Assistant / Support Worker we would love to hear from you. However, experience isn't necessary as we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply. The role of a Care worker will involve: • Supporting people in the local community to live independently at home. • Support customers with their day to day routine; • Assisting with personal care such as showering, bathing, continence care • Helping with mobility • Administering medication, • Preparing meals • Light domestic tasks • Individual requirements outlined in each person-centred support plan. Please join us in keeping our customers Warm this Winter! This winter we are asking for your donations of blankets (preferably lap blankets to reduce trip hazards) to keep our customers warm this winter. Our focus is to #warmtheperson not the home; as paying for heating throughout your home can be costly when a blanket supplied out of kindness can often be effective enough. We welcome new, handmade and preloved (but clean) donations to be dropped off to First City House during the colder season so that we can pass these out to customers as and when they are needed Thank you
