In the shipbuilding industry, applying anti-corrosion paint to the exterior steel through sandblasting is essential. This is a dry technique that requires the relative humidity level during and immediately after the application of this treatment to be below 40%. ✅At Fisair, we have developed and supplied dehumidifiers designed to meet these air humidity standards for decades to renowned clients and applicators. ✅Thanks to our desiccant dehumidifier units, the risk of sudden oxidation is reduced, allowing sandblasting on uncoated steel to be maintained, as well as accelerating production times and goals by minimizing the need for cleaning and painting after each sandblasting. ✅Our DFRC units are ideal for these applications due to their portability, robustness, and practicality.
