FIT360 Ltd Annual Statistics (our year end) Our lab and clinic customers have reached another milestone!! They are now making 100,000 pairs of fully custom insoles per month; by carving & 3D printing (in nylon, polypropylene, TPU & resins). That's more than 10 pairs per minute - of a working week - into patient footwear. The number of printed pairs continues to rise, as the availability of high quality tech and affordable materials (rigid & soft) expanded rapidly in 2024. We are just days away from launching Version 4 of FitFoot360 & FitPrint360 in the first of two webinars, full of new tools and workflows. The drive for new, more environmentally friendly ways to make soft insoles, has created a need for complex variational geometries, to build variable stiffness within 3d printed insoles....not an easy task to do. We are pleased to announce that FIT360 Ltd have teamed up with Solo Lattices Company Ltd, to embed their rapid and intelligent lattice structure engine within our custom orthotic insole design solution. This relationship will enable our users to create variable stiffness (functional and accommodative insoles) within a single printed material. It's not about beautiful looking 3D prints, it is about offering a design environment to help clinical organisations explore both powder and resin 3D printing, to improve their patient outcomes. FitFoot360 Version 4 (due in a few weeks) will expand our variational geometry tools, to enable our community to exploit the potential that the rapidly evolving materials for powder and resin 3D print technologies now offer. Users will be able to control stiffness in a soft device by combining multi-density zones (eg for a soft heel region) with multi-layered zones (eg for controlling arch rigidity). The new tools will include optional solid regions, to allow a clinician to trim a custom orthotic insole to fit a specific patient's shoe (we are often faced with non-standard shoe profiles in our clinical world).
