Today is Stress Awareness Day – a great opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of mental well-being, both inside and outside of work. At FitFlop, we prioritize creating a supportive environment for mental health and are proud to offer a range of resources to help our team thrive. Here are some great ways we support and promote mental health well-being: ✔ The Employee Assistance Program with Retail Trust, an organisation that focuses on the mental well-being of our employees ✔ Our partnership with Sanctus Coaching, Mentoring & Listening, providing 1-2-1 coaching for personal or work matters ✔ Calm app subscription for guided meditation and relaxing soundscapes ✔ Flexible working options Within our office, we have trained Mental Health Ambassadors to support our employees. Additionally, our fantastic Feel Good Champions are always available to discuss well-being and organize social events, such as our monthly catch-ups in kitchen and fun activities like Sports Day and the Christmas Party happening soon! 🥂

During Menopause Awareness Month, we want to encourage open conversation and increase understanding surrounding this topic. Menopause can bring physical and emotional challenges and fostering a supportive environment is crucial. Whether it’s a partner, parent, sibling or friend menopause will impact everyone in one way and so we want everyone to have the information and awareness to be able to support the people around you. Kathy, our Chief People Officer has also written an open and honest piece for this about her own experience and we thank her for shedding light on this topic. 🫂NATIONAL INCLUSION WEEK ROUND-UP   Founded by Inclusive Employers, this year’s theme, ‘Impact Matters,’ 'is a powerful reminder that each of us holds the potential to make a profound and positive difference.'   As part of this year’s activities, we hosted an inspiring talk with @Project 23 and Davina Rajoopillai on the theme of ‘Empowering Everyday Actions.’ The discussion highlighted how small, intentional actions can create a lasting impact and the importance of self-awareness and bias in decision-making.
