A fundamentally new way of quantifying protein interactions for diagnostics, drug discovery and precision medicine

About us

Fluidic Analytics designs, develops and manufactures tools that seek to revolutionise the way proteins are characterised, allowing our customers to understand the machinery of life. We envision a world where information about proteins and their behaviour transforms our understanding of how the biological world operates, and helps all of us make better decisions about how we diagnose diseases, develop treatments and maintain our personal well-being. By building the world’s best tools, software and services for protein characterisation and making them universally accessible in the lab, in the clinic or at home, we are making this vision a reality not just for a small group of expert users, but for everyone who can benefit. Studying non-covalent Werner Syndrome RecQ helicase inhibitors? Check out this paper by the team of Alisa Heuser et al. from Novartis 💡 Werner Syndrome RecQ helicase is a target for inhibition as a therapeutic for cancers that are microsatellite instability high 🎯. Using #MDS as one of their tools, the authors carefully investigated reported noncovalent inhibitors and found several false positives, highlighting the need for new screening strategies. Read our story 🌿 As we embark on our journey as a company, we are thrilled to bring back the #MicrofluidicDiffusionalSizing (MDS) technology, a robust and easy method for characterizing protein interactions in solution. It's unique and powerful, while remains simple and direct. We believe MDS's ability to tackle challenging targets like multi-component protein complexes or unpurified samples will open its door to all stages of research and drug discovery and development. And don’t forget that MDS can quantify binding affinity, size, concentration and stoichiometry in solution, all at once.
