About us

One of the main national providers of the latest Suction Excavation technology with skilled and fully qualified operatives. Force one operate 26, 32 and 41t Suction Excavators that range from twin, triple and quad fan systems to offer a dedicated solution. Other equipment, such as our tracked remote units, bag pack system, high tip and Super Tip Skip options allow for this technology to be applied to many different industries and requirements. Industries that we operate within: 🚊 Rail 🛣️ Highways 💨 Gas Network ⚡ Sub / Power Station 🗼 Civil Engineering 🕳️ Utilities And many, many more... With the airflow created by the on board fan system within the Suction Excavator, this draws material up through the 250mm intake nozzle and into the on board container where material is stored until full, then container is side tipped (drivers side). The advantages to this solution are: ⚡ Eliminates risk to buried service and operative 🚛 Reduced vehicles required on site and around excavation ⛔ Removes operatives from hazardous area ✨ Cleaner excavation area (minimal spoil and dust) 💻 Force One Ltd website www.forceoneltd.co.uk hosts a wealth of information, images and videos and a contact us page if you need to know more! • Week 50 on the rail for the Force One Team 🚂 This weekend saw the Force One Rail Division assist with several projects across the UK. The Quad-Fan Fleet was out supporting rail operations with OTP and Remote Nozzles Units all weekend 🌪 The standout works from the weekend was a 26 hour possession, supporting Sonic Rail Services Ltd. and M Group Rail & Aviation on the St John’s Footbridge project. These works included the supply of, 2x RRV's, 3x 5m trailers, 3x 7m trailers and a POS package. Scope of works included the transportation of the 3x bridge sections through 14 sets of points, over a mile down track. The bridge sections totalling 26 tonnes and ranging from 9 to 11 meters in length were safely transported to site. The on track team then created the temporary bridge construction area, where there client and there various other contractors, constructed and installed the footbridge. The M Group Rail & Aviation team were able to hand the track back 2 hours early, even with an initial 3 hour delay in getting the possession! Thank you to all of the Force One team for there hard work in preparing and executing these works over the weekend. Also, thank you to our supply chain for your support with these works 👨🔧 A final thank you to Readypower Group & Sonic Rail Services Ltd. for their continued support!

  • The new CPA "Safe use of Suction & Vacuum Excavators" safe guidance document is here! 📄 Following Declan Burkes appointment as the chair of the SAVE Group (Suction & Vacuum Excavation) in 2024, the group has been working alongside other suppliers and customers in the UK to revise and release the new safe guidance document for the use of Suction & Vacuum Excavators 🌪 Force One Managing Director & SAVE chair Declan Burke, said: “The original publication – the first of its type – made a huge difference in the way that suction and vacuum excavators were procured and used, and it has stood the test of time. As with all operational practices, we needed to ensure it remained fit-for-purpose. I and the members of the group urge those who own, hire or specify the use of suction and vacuum excavators to read and implement the recommendations and good practices contained within the revised publication.” Ensuring that legislative and legal standards were complied with, within the documentation, it was fantastic to see the group work together towards this new guidance. Some of the revisions include: - The recommendation of fully trained support/second operatives alongside the operation of Suction Excavators. - The recommendation against the use of the rotating nozzle (IKE), as it is a form of aggressive digging. General update to legislative and legal guidelines. - The publication can be downloaded free of charge from the CPA website. The students also got a look at one of the highest spec'd Suction Excavation Units in the country, whilst talking to the team about working in the sector. Specifically, with Morgan Sindall and Bam Nuttall 🌪 Thank you to Victoria Phillips from the SMP Alliance for bringing us along and Elizabeth Nicholson from the Northampton College for organising such a fantastic event!

  • This weekend the Force One team hung up our PPE in exchange football boots, holding a company 5-a-side tournament ⚽ Five teams participated, with everyone playing well and brushing up on their football skills (apart from the odd tumble, that we managed to picture). The sun came out for us and a great day was had by all, thank you to all those who participated and well done to the winning team! 🏆
