How do you create a long-term content calendar that continuously delivers? When you’re busy delivering on client work, keeping your own content bank full and making sure your marketing is on top form can be challenging. Our recent hackathon brought together the team to think about how we can plan and create content that not only delivers valuable insights but also engages our audience consistently. How do we inspire the next generation of #entrepreneurs? Our CEO, Gay Flashman was invited to take part on an awesome panel of strong business leaders at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School last week. Hosted at the Shard, the session included powerful panellists Yemi Jackson MBA, ACMA, Sarah Stephen and Claire Trant PhD FRSA delivering stories of their own journey with entrepreneurship. Thanks to host and stellar PR Katie Clift for all the support with this!
What is at the heart of entrepreneurial success? Hard work ✅ Resilience ✅ Vision ✅ all play a part... but the road is not always an easy one. I was proud to be invited to the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School event at the Shard by the Warwick Women's Professional Network (WWPN) last week to share a few insights from my entrepreneur journey. My inspirational fellow panellists included Yemi Jackson MBA, ACMA, Claire Trant PhD FRSA and Sarah Stephen along with the amazing entrepreneur herself, Katie Clift who hosted the panel. Here's an overview of some of the 'red threads' through our discussion: - Begin with the end in mind: always one of my favourite aphorisms (thank you Stephen Covey) there's nothing like having a real vision for the future to help you get there. - Trust yourself! if you have faith in your own ability to succeed, then those around you and those you are trying to influence, are more likely to buy into that too. - It's a tough job. Maybe this seems obvious, but it's going to take hard work and resilience to build a business. Nothing comes easy. - Choose which fires to put out. You're going to have a million things pulling on your time, so make sure you prioritise what's really important. - Burnout is real. Protect yourself as best you can. - Know your 'why' and know your values. What are the values that are so important to you that you will never violate In order to make money? - Make sure that whatever business you set up, it's based around something you're passionate about. And that's not always your core 'skill'! Congratulations to the University of Warwick Women's Professional Network (WWPN) committee!! We need more of these.
